Course Details
A. Conversation (A1 Introductory)
Eligibility: Those who have no prior knowledge in Japanese
Those who can attend all the lessons in the term
Textbook: “Marugoto A1 -Japanese Language and Culture [Activity]”
Textbook & material fee: INR 600
B. Conversation (A2-1 Elementary)
Eligibility: Those who have completed “Marugoto A1 [Activity])”
Those whose Japanese proficiency level is below JLPT N5
Those who can attend all the lessons in the term
Textbook: “Marugoto A2-1 -Japanese Language and Culture [Activity]”
Textbook & material fee: INR 600

Class size : 10 to 15 people

Application and Course Fee Payment
1. Interested candidates shall send an email to query@jfindia.org.in, call us at 2644-2967 or visit The Japan Foundation in order to obtain the Course Instruction and Application Form.
2. Submit filled Application Form to the Japan Foundation by hand or by email at query@jfindia.org.in
3. Telephone interview will be conducted in the order of application submission. Please note that once all the seats are taken up, the telephone interview will not be conducted for the late applicants.
4. Those who were interviewed over the phone and successfully selected will be tentatively registered to the class. They shall come and pay the material fee at the Japan Foundation by 8 November to finalize the registration (Sat, Sun and public holidays are closed). The registration of those who failed to pay the fee by the designated date will be cancelled.

Applicants must be 18 years of age or above and can communicate in English– Applicants have to be sure to attend all the lessons in the term. If he/ she misses 2 lessons in a row,
they will not be able to continue the class.
– Lessons that fall on public holidays may be shifted to alternative dates.
– The above courses are not designed for JLPT preparation.
