2. Course Details
Applicants for all classes must be 18 years of age or above, who can communicate in English.

[Script & Grammar (A1 Introductory) ] – Class I
Eligibility: Those who have no prior knowledge in Japanese
Those who have completed Lesson 1 to 9 of marugoto A1 [ Activity]
Textbook : Marugoto A1 – Japanese Language and Culture (Comprehension)
Textbook & material fee: INR 600

[Conversation (A2 Elementary 1) ] – Class II & V
Eligibility: Those who completed the textbook “Marugoto A1: Activity” or
Those who have obtained JLPT N5 or can read hiragana and katakana
Textbook : Marugoto A2-1 – Japanese Language and Culture (Activity)
Textbook & material fee: INR 600
* Class II is a continuation of last terms

[Reading & Discussion (C1 Advanced) ] -Class III
In this course, learners will read and discuss on the latest news on Japan, such as international affairs, society, welfare, scientific technology and education.
Eligibility: Those who obtained JLPT N2, former JLPT Level 2 or equivalent
Material:   To be provided in classroom
Material fee: INR 600

[Conversation (A1 Introductory) ] – Class IV
Eligibility: Those who have learned Lesson 1 to 6 of “Marutogo A1” or equivalent
Textbook: “Marugoto A1- Japanese Language & Culture (Activity) & Word Book”
Textbook fee: INR 600

3. Application and Fee Payment
– Please send an email to query@jfindia.org.in, call us at 2644-2967 or visit the Japan Foudnation in order to obtain the Course Instruction and Application Form.
– Please fill up the Application Form and submit it to the Japan Foundation by hand or send it to query@jfindia.org.in
– Due to class size, there will be selection and interview over the phone. The interview will be conducted after 14 Dec on a first-come-first served basis in the order of application submission. The result will be delivered to those who were seccessfully selected by 20 Dec.
– Those who were selected shall come and pay the material fee at the Japan Foundation by 27 Dec to finalise the registration (Sat and Sun are closed). The registration of those who failed to pay the fee by the designated day will be cancelled.

Venue: The Japan Foundation, New Delhi
Class size: about 10 people
(The classes may be cancelled, if the number of applicants is not sufficient to open the course)

Others:
Lessons that falls on public holidays may be shifted to alternative dates
The above courses are not designed for JLPT preparation
