Short Synopsis:
In this heart-warming comedy, three complete strangers, with their own personal stories, embark on an impromptu road trip to Hokkaido. The trio consists of heartbroken Kinya, recently dumped by his girlfriend, Akemi who randomly joins him on the road and Yusaku, who has just been released from prison. As they go through their ups and downs, Yusaku reveals that he went to prison after accidentally killing a person in rage after finding out about his wife’s past. During his time in prison, he forced his wife to divorce him so she could marry again if she found a good man, and his wife has not contacted him again since. He tells them that he wrote a postcard to his wife the day he was released from prison and told her to put a yellow handkerchief on a high pole by their house if she still wanted him back. As they near his house, will there be a yellow handkerchief waiting for him?
