ASHOK AHUJA is a filmmaker, writer, researcher, and visual artist. Based on his visits to Japan between 1983 and 2013, he presents this exhibition of images titled “Yūjō” (Friendship).
The show reflects his deep appreciation of the culture and thought of Japan, leading to an engagement with Japanese arts, crafts, poetry and philosophy. It is a document of the correspondence between the cultures of Japan and India, and of the creative expression of the people in both countries.
