The Japan Foundation, New Delhi will be organising a Disaster Management Workshop Program in Delhi as well as in Sikkim from 5th December, 2013 to 9th December, 2013. A prominent disaster management expert Mr. Seiji SUWA of Maiko High School Hyogo Prefecture, Japan will be conducting program to disseminate disaster preventions education to all sections of society through various programs.

As a pre-event of this disaster management workshop program, the Japan Foundation will screen three short documentary films, made by NHK International and Japan Foundation.

The details of the screening are as mentioned below:                  

1.    Name: Social Changes
Duration: 15 minutes
Based on:  The social change which happens after March 11, 2011 in Japan          

2.    Name: Multicultural Societies
Duration: 15 minutes
Based on: How different societies came together to help victim of disaster

3.    Name: Disaster Prevention Education

Duration: 15 minutes
Based on: A story of two schools and how their disaster prevention education program saved lives of hundreds of school children.
