The Japan Foundation announces “Japanese Language & Culture Course – First Semester”.
The course will start from July 2016 and will continue till November 2016.
Course Instructions, Rules and Regulations
1. Eligibility:
1. Applicants must be 18 years of age as of the May 28, 2016 (Class II, IV & X) and May 31, 2016 (Class I) and June 1, 2016 (Class III).
2. Those who have no prior knowledge in Japanese.
3. Those who are able to communicate in English.
4. ONLY for Class X: The applicants must have written knowledge of Hiragana and Katakana.
2. Course Details:
1. Textbook:
a. Classes I, II, III & IV- “Marugoto A1 -Japanese Language and Culture [Activity]”
b. Class X – “Marugoto A1 -Japanese Language and Culture [Grammar & Script]”
2. Textbook & material fee: INR 600
3. Venue: The Japan Foundation, New Delhi
4. Class size: 15 people (Class I-IV) | 10 people (Class X)
5. Lessons that fall on public holidays may be shifted to alternative dates.
6. If you are absent for 2 or more lessons in a row without informing, you cannot continue the course.
7. Attendance ratio of 70% is needed to obtain a certificate of completion of the course.
8. The Japan Foundation does not offer JLPT preparatory Courses.
