The Japan Foundation, New Delhi (JFND), in collaboration with Assam Skill University and the Indo-Japan Business Council (IJBC), is bringing Japanese culture to academic institutions through a series of cultural exchange programmes under the Japanese Language Teacher Development Programme (JLTDP).

From Japanese calligraphy and origami to traditional attire, Bon Odori and introductory Japanese language sessions, students will have the opportunity to discover and experience the beauty of Japanese culture through fun and interactive activities.

The initiative aims to promote Japanese language and culture, introduce students to career opportunities related to Japan, and provide JLTDP candidates with valuable hands-on teaching experience. Through these exchanges, the programme also seeks to deepen cross-cultural understanding and strengthen the bonds between India and Japan.
